Tell me when your preemie smiled

Ok, please tell me when your preemie smiled socially (adjusted age.)

Hunter is 8 weeks adjusted today, 22 weeks actual.. and still no smiling.  *sigh*

    She JUST started smiling last week! 24 weeker born 11/1 - adjusted age was 9 weeks. And unfortunately the only way I can get her to do it is to talk ridiculously high to her :)

    Aiden smiled the first time a week ago at 4 weeks adjusted. He still only does it once or twice a day though. I hope he smiles for you soon! He is so cute I can only imagine how cute a little grin will be on that face.

    OMG it took FOREVER. I never thought she'd smile. She finally did it just before Christmas, at 15 weeks actual, 9 weeks adjusted. I was getting so bummed right about where you are and was SO happy when in it finally happened. Your LO will smile, too, and you totally won't remember these weeks you've been waiting for his smile, I promise!

    It felt like it took forever.  One of by friends who had a premie as well said she felt the same way and reassured me he would smile. He did at about months adjusted.

    Thanks for all the reassurance!!  I'll be sure to post when he finally does show us those dimples on purpose.  :)

    Jack was born 10 weeks eary and he didn't smile till he was close to 4 months old which was about 2 months adjusted.   Iknow it's hard waitingf or the smile that's the one thing i couldn't wait for too.  It will come and so be worth it....
    10/17/2009 - Our Miracle came 10 weeks early. IF,2 MC and 1 Preemie we have our miracle.. Baby Hope 10 weeks 5days was taken from us on Dec 18, 2007. Forever with us and Forever missed. Triplets Lost baby A @ weeks, Lost Baby B at 6 weeks and lost baby Abigail at 14 weeks when she was born to little for this life..... Forever with us ....
