My son is obsessed with deer.

They can calm him in an instant!! He was screaming his head off earlier and I said "wanna go see the deer?"  Immediately he stopped and said "de ah"  We have to "pet" them every day and we look out in the yard for them.

    We have a lot of land and there is about 3 deer that cross the front of the house in the morning and the back of the house in the evening.  So not all the time but we do see them pretty regular!  Tues night there were at least 6 out back.  It's really cool!

    ETA: we "pet" the ones that are mounted not live deer.

    Oh, that's cool! We're eventually moving to the country, and I'm excited for the wildlife...except for mice.
