How do cope? I need sleep and LO won't nap for longer than 20 minutes. We took a walk and she woke up as soon as we got home. She fell asleep nursing and woke up as soon as I put her in her bed. She's in her swing right now looking around and I put her in there if I can't get her to sleep any other way.
I swaddle, play white noise, do everything the same for naps and bedtime yet she fights me tooth & nail during the day. I want her to nap so I can get stuff done and catch up on sleep.
Re: Those with LO's that don't nap (or didn't nap)
My LO doesn't nap, never really has. It is better now that he is only waking up once (sometimes twice) in the night to sleep, but it is exhausting. I don't think there is really any way to make them nap if they don't want to, especially if they are just a very active baby, like mine is.
