20 month old hates to get her diaper and clothes changed

My 20 month old hates to get dressed and hates to get her diaper changed.  Is this normal?  She likes to pick out her clothes but then hates to put them on.

    We are going through that and he is 16 months old. You would think we were pulling out his fingernails the way he screams and squirms.

    DS has been like that for quite some time. I'm hoping he either outgrows it of  PT comes early.

    My 2 year old is running and screaming "nooo!!" at us when we try to change him and dress him to. ::sigh::

    My daughter just started doing this (she just turned 20 months).  Doesn't care as much about getting her diaper changed specifically, but anything involving removing clothes (like switching to jammies from her day clothes), it is like we are abusing her...she screams "paaaaaannnnnntttttssss".  It is so sad!

    Totally normal.  DS is 21 months and has been this way for a couple of months now.  It seems to be getting a little better, though.  It's just a phase.  Good luck!
