2. Why were you given your particular name? It's the title of a song that came out in about '75 and my mom thought it was a pretty name. She put it on her list, and when I was born, my dad said that I looked like that name.

1. I turn 29 tomorrow, and I live in Michigan
2. At the time, it was pretty uncommon, but it's a biblical name. My parents picked it because they thought it would be a good professional name, no matter what the age. They also considered Erin, but didn't want to name me after the Irish Setter they had with the same name.
3. I live in a small town, but I guess I live in the city (if you can call it that). I'd love to live in the country someday, as long as I didn't have to have a long commute.

5. When I was about 16, I tripped over a branch in a driveway while I was out jogging. I'm the only person I know who broke her arm running. I also hit a mailbox while riding my bike. I was like 14 - not a little kid who just couldn't ride a bike well.

3. Where do you live (City, Country, Suburbs?) Where do you want to live? Right inside the city and I love it! We'll probably move to city outskirts, but not actual 'burbs, once we have one and another on the way in a few years. Paying for two kids to go to private school on one income might suck!
4. Favorite band or music? Ahhh, I love so much! I just got back from the Coachella music festival Monday. My all time favorite bands are Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, and Widespread Panic. But I also love Fergie, MGMT, Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton and any band Jack White is in.
5. Something interesting and/or random about yourself? I met DH in New Orleans at a concert. We are both from different states, but we ended up staying in touch and getting married a few years later!
6. Attempt to make us laugh: Honestly, my sense of humor sucks! I can't make/tell jokes very well and I usually don't "get" jokes unless they are really good. I'm better at understanding puns than actual jokes. Sad, huh?

I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week. Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor's office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am. I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45am. The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to spare. As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene When making such visits, but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in that area to sake sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment. I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles away. I was a little surprised when the doctor said, 'My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven't we?' I didn't respond. After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest of the day was normal. Some shopping, cleaning, cooking. After school when my 6 year old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, 'Mommy, where's my washcloth?' I told her to get another one from the cupboard. She replied, 'No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it.' Never going back to that doctor. Ever. The end.

Count the names in her family - there are actually 4 kids in that family. The triplets, then another kid that came 18 months later. Her mom must have had 4 kids under the age of 2. Yikes!
sorry that was confusing... I meant that I'm a triplet and mom got pregnant again when we were 9 months old. So she had 4 kids under 2 years old.
