size for coming home outfit?

My bp was high today and protein found in both urine samples they took.  So I'm doing a 24hr collection and tomorrow b/w.  OB talked about possibly needing to induce.  So we're spending this weekend getting things ready.  One of the things we need to do is get a coming home outfit.  With a potential early induction, I'm thinking we might need to get a premie size?  DD was 6.15lbs at 37w3d.  What size would you get?

    I'd either go with preemie or prob newborn.. If your DD was over 6lbs then newborn might work..we got carter newborn onsies are from 5-8lbs or some such.. (I'm expecting closer to 9lbs..so I need to exchange these) just check weights is what I mean :)

    Well if before 37 I'd definitely go with preemie and just have a backup newborn.. (We have a newborn outfit and back up 0-3 just in case)

     I'd go with preemie...

    Most preemie sizes go up to 6- 7 lbs.

    My DD was born at 33w 5d due to severe pre-e and weight 3 lbs 15 oz she couldn't even fit into NB until she was almost 2 mo. old (Or until about two weeks after my EDD)

    I would say newborn, even though my baby was 6.1 bs she would definitely fit in preemie but they will grow out of them! and my baby is 21 1/2 inches long! So newborns are big on her weight wise and some are small length wise lol

     

     

    *ETA- i was induced at 41 weeks

    my boys were both 22inches and 8lbs and fit great in newborn!

    My daughter was 5 lbs 12 oz and had to wear preemie at first.  Newborn was still too big even though she was born at 38 weeks.
