? re: decrease in feeding time

Normally DS feeds about 10-15 min per side each feeding but the past 2 days he has been eating less than 10 min on each side, sometimes less than 5 minutes before pulling away and acting like he's done.  Sometimes he seems content and other times he's kinda fussy, acting like he wants more but then won't re-latch and settles down until it's time to eat again (2 1/2-3 hours later).  My boobs definitely feel emptied after this, but I wonder if my supply has dipped?  I just started back on the pill this week-would that cause a decrease in supply?  DS has definitely gotten enough BM in the past-last week he weighed 8 lb 13 oz (was 6 lb 3 oz at birth).  Can you tell me what's going on?

    Could be the pill, but if he's acting satisfied he is most likely just more efficient now.  My son started out eating for 30 mins on each side and now is down to 2.5-3 minutes on each side.  He definitely is getting enough...he is 20lbs and 6 months old.

    Our lo's are about the same age and he is doing the samething. and sometime during the day he is going 3.5 hours. I haven't started the pill yet so maybe it is just there age..
