Well ... I know one person I'm not friends with, I guess.

Outside of this drama, I haven't kept track in a while. I'll friend just about anybody, so it's not like I'm not friends with certain nesties for any reason, I just ... don't know if I've already friended you or not.

And if I haven't met you IRL, then I may not recognize you unless you post on the Austin Nesties discussion board what your screen name is.

What she said. I went through and added a bunch of Nesties when the FB group was first formed, but then I've been a slacker. And then I'd see a rockstar nestie on my friend suggestion and get all worried about whether I should friend her or if she'd even know who I was or if she even wanted to be my friend.... God, Facebook really is high school, isn't it?

Re: #2, it took me several months before I broke down & friended my mom. I had a policy that I would not be friends with my parents on FB, but I got pressure from every which way about how I needed to be a good daughter and friend my mom. Ugh. I finally did have M was born so she could see more pictures.

ok I don't want to post my name to the nestie page....so... I think I know Joyco's last name- I shall friend her and see if this gets me any new friends, assuming she accepts my request.

I dreaded the day my parents joined FB. But then the whole world joined and I could no longer post my honest status messages anyway so no big deal.

I was already joyco's friend, and a couple others, but never joined the nestie group because I didn't want outsiders to find me on the nest. I want to friend all of you and be a part of the group now.

So, tell me one more time how to hide that you're part of a group, but still have all the "friends" from the group show up?!?

I didn't mind friending my mom because she never checks FB. I did, however, put off accepting a friend invite from my FIL for as long as I could. Then I caved because telling him no would have been more trouble than it was worth. Sad
