Speaking of glucose tests... my dr. office is the best!

I'm taking my glucose drink.... and it's carbonated!  I'm basically drinking an orange soda.

My dr office/hospital is awesome for lots of reasons...  but they just totally won major brownie points with me! :D

    That's great! Mine was too, they let me refrigerate it at home and drink it cold on the way to the dr office, they drew my blood an hour after I finished it. It was no biggie, for me at least! I thought it tasted GOOD lol Plis I passed which made the experience so much better :) GL hope u pass!!

    The one I had tasted like coke but sweeter. Always nice when you expect the worst and it's not that bad =)

    I had that same orange drink.  I agree it tastes better really cold.  The hardest part for me was just getting it down in 5 minutes.  It was burning my throat!  I wouldn't say it was good but it was tolerable!

    Oh, that's pretty cool. 
    I had to take the 1 hour and 3 hour with a flat orange drink Ick!
    Some people say it's not that bad . . . but for me it was that bad and I had a hard time keeping it down both times.

    I have never had one that isn't carbonated.  Maybe that is why I actually like them (I know, weird).

    I'm a little envious.  I enjoyed a cold beverage but kept telling my husband it would be better carbonated.  And yes, even with great practice drinking tons of water for ultrasounds, the 5 minute time-limit was a struggle for me.  In true DH style, he started a timer on his Iphone and was "tough love" coaching my progress.  Glad I passed!  Good luck to you!

    I really hope the ones my OB offers are carbonated now - that would def. make it much easier. I guess if nothing else at least she offers 3 flavors.

    I just had mine this morning and I got the clear kind (cold) that tasted like flat Sprite. Wasn't that bad, but towards the end it got really sweet and I was a little grossed out. My tummy felt fine but I got a little heartburn from all the sugar. Huzzah for Tums!!!

    That's nice!

    Mine wasn't carbonated, but it was ice cold.  The cold made all the difference, I didn't think it tasted bad at all.  I had to do it twice, once it was orange, the other time fruit punch.
