He shed a tear and my heart broke :(

I was on the net this morning and Zaiden started to cry. It was not a normal cry. It sounded more like a howl with a cry and it was loud. I ran into the nursery to see what was wrong. I picked him up and tried to comfort him. As soon as he let up I went to check if anything was wrong. I put him down on his changer and then it happened. A tear came rolling down his right cheek,I wiped it and literally felt my heart breaking. 

I checked him and everything was okay. He must have just been very hungry.

    Those are the worst. Annalisa gets startled sometimes and lets out that cry and her body just goes stiff. Breaks my heart too to see the tears. She has started the waterworks WAY too early. But it really does break my heart when she cries hard and the tears come out.

    Ohhh, that is sad.  I don't like it when they get real tears.

    Yep.  We saw tears starting around week 8 :(

    My DD freaked out when the pricked her foot to get blood drawn at the pedi last week and she had tears.  My eyes were tearing up too, but I don't think DH or pedi saw.  I felt so dumb, but I hated hearing her cry like that.

    My lo has been crying tears for a couple of weeks now and everytime I see them it just breaks my heart. I hate it.

    I feel your pain ... today I had just gotten out of the shower and was trying to get dressed ... all of a sudden, dd started fussing a bit and I started singing the "just a minute sweet baby" song, which calmed her down ... but then she started to cry and when I went to her, one little tear fell from her left eye ... I thought I'd cry too ... it was awful ... down fall all the way down her face but it came close ... totally broke my heart.

    My DS cried real tears the first time he got a shot at 5 weeks.  Oh man, I thought my heart was going to break when it rolled down his face...even the PA commented on it.  Poor little guy!
