Does your LO eat paper constantly?

I'm started to get a little concerned about this. Any paper, magazine, cardboard, book, whatever my kid finds, she rips pieces off and chews them like gum. WTF is up with this? I can't even leave her alone with board books because they're instantly destroyed.

I thought it was just a baby thing but as she gets older, I'm started to worry about it. She might be cutting her canines soon, but her molars cut 6 months ago so she really hasn't been teething in that time gap.

  • If I left it available, yes.  Dog food if another problem.  So, when he's out and about, we have to put EVERYTHING up.  Problem with that is that he's getting so tall.

  • My DS is the same way. I feel bad because I have had to take away all his books and he only has access to them when we pick one out for reading time. We have nicknamed him goat because he will eat any paper in sight!
  • Same problem here! SO happy to hear others are going through the same crap! It's so frustrating!
