I work part time, but still do all the SAHM stuff. Definitly hard work. I love being at home with DD but sometimes I just feel like i'm doing more house work then spending quality time with DD. I love that I can stay home with her, but would love it more if I had a maid
My girls have been home with a nanny (2 different ones) for almost 2 years and have benefitted greatly from them. Both were former day care teachers and have also nannied before. They do similar curriculum with them. They have learned so much and I am amazed by it. I honestly don't think I would have been able to teach them 1/2 as much or have the patience that they do...eventhough I adore my girls to death!
I do have a pretty flexible job so it makes it quite do-able for me. I am an attorney and can make my own hours some days.
So funny, I have been asking myself this question for the past three weeks. I love my job, I have been there for 16 years and the business does rely on me to keep it going for certain things, but part of me really doesn't wan tot miss out on any part of motherhood either. My DH and I could afford it if we wanted to, but that would require him working himself to death and never seeing us. I also know part of him would love for me to stay home too. If I said I wanted to he would let me, but it would be a big sacrifice in a lot of differnt ways. Oh I hate decisions like this. any advice???
