TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

D@mn Dog!

Yesterday I cooked some chicken breasts for my salads this week and the Moose swiped one off of the counter.  I got most of it out of his mouth, gave him the old "bad dog" speech, and put the gate up.  Of course next came the whining and pouting.  I put up with it and went on with the cooking.

Later that same evening, DH came in from working outside and moved the gate.  Yup, Moose swiped a slice of pizza!  This time I got it all out and didn't even have to yell - he went straight to his kennel with his ears pulled back.

What a little shiit!

  • Bad Moose!  Our dog is a food whore too

  • I love it when they do something bad, and then put themselves in time out. It's like, they were fully aware of the punishment, and did it anyway.

  • Oooh, bad Moose!

We have found out what pest is eating the leaves off our cantaloupe plants. It is a liver roan GSP named Biscuit. Damn DH forgetting to close the gate to the garden...

That sucks! I'm sorry hun. Maybe Moose was just trying to be suportive of your healthy eating attempts... of course that doesn't explain the chicken bit.
