Loosing your mucus plug....moms of 2 or more.

For those of you who have had more than 2 children...was your experience with loosing your mucus plug the same in "predicting" labor with both? With my first child I lost my mucus plug 2 days before giving birth. With my second I was induced so I never lost it.

With this pregnancy (im almost 39 weeks) I have been loosing small pieces of it for the last couple of days and today I lost a huge chunk. Just wondering if it may be similar in predicting labor in the next couple of days.

    Not at all similar.  Sorry!  I lost it with both girls at 34 weeks.  DD#1 was induced at 37w3d due to growth/movement concerns.  DD#2 came naturally at 36w2d.  With DS, I had the bloody show less than 5 hours before he was born...while I was in the hospital in labor.

    Not similar at all either~ With DS#1 I lost it at 37 weeks and I had him at 38 weeks 2 days. With DD2, I lost small peices for a week or so..and then at 40 weeks 2 days my water broke and my mucus plug came with it.
