When did your LO start wearing 12 mo clothes?

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months
DD is 6 months and has fit in 9 month pants the last few weeks, the tops are still a bit big on her. I can't decide which size summer clothes to buy - 9 mo or 12 mo (she'll be 9&10 months old in July&August). Since they're shorts/bloomers I'm thinking 9 mo might last her through most of the summer?

    Trent is starting to wear 12 months now. Depending on where I am buying things and by "eye-balling" them I am getting 12 or 18 months for summer.

    Haha mine is not even 6 months and is in 12 months already-- it is a little bit big on him.  He is about 21 lbs and 28 inches (at our 4 month appt).

    I got him 12 month stuff for the late spring/early summer and 18 months for the end of the summer/early fall.

    If I were you, I would buy both... one for the first half of the summer, one for the second half.

    He's been in 12 mo pants since 6-7 mo due to length but the tops are just now starting to fit.  I find myself buying more separates because of this.  I also tend to buy things big - I'd go with the 12 mo sizes if I were you.

    About a month ago. I've only bought 12m summer clothes because I think he'll thin out when he starts crawling so I don't htink we'll need 18m until fall. At least I hope not ;)

    I swear she grew a TON in the last week. Just recently, she has started to fit into 9 and 12 month clothing really well.

    around 7-8 months.  She is 86th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height.

    5-6 months - but she's a giant 99th percentile baby. Plus she wears cloth diapers so pants always need to be a bit "roomier" for her booty!

    we just started our 12 month stuff, but a lot of 9 month stuff and 6-12 mos sizes still fit well.

    He started to wear 12 month clothing probably around 6-7 months, 18 month clothing around 8-9 months, 24 month clothing around 10 months and now sitting a combination of 24 and 2T.

    My DD is over 10 months and wears mostly 6-9 (she can fit some 3-6 dresses), but other clothes are usually too short.

    We bought him a ton of 12 months stuff right after Thanksgiving, and he was probably wearing them by Christmas. He was ~5.5 months then. They were a little big, but 9 month stuff made him look like a sausage. 
    Contemplating the snow.

    We bought all 12 month shorts. DD wears mostly 6-9 but the 12mon shorts fit great.

    DD can wear 9 month tops for a while now but is just starting to fit in 9 mo pants.  We got 12 mo for summer since most of the tops are longer anyways.

    DD has been wearing 12 mo sizes since 4 mos....she is LONG! She can wearing 18 mo now and isn't even 6 mo old!

    DS is wearing both 9 and 12 month stuff.  He's been wearing 9 month stuff since 4 months and some 12 month since 6 months. 

    He has really slown down once becoming mobile (he only gained 1 pound in the last couple months).  Before that he was going through sizes super fast.  12 month clothing still has plenty of room and I expect him to wear that size at least through summer if not longer.  He's currently almost 23lbs and he's 30.25 inches.

    Last month he can also still fit into some of his 6/9's depending on the brand.

    He has been wearing 12 month sleepers since 7.5 months though because he is so long.  And he also wears 12-18 month pants for the same reason.  Shirts and onesies are more 9-12 months, depending on the brand, but he is leaning toward 12 month more now.
