NBR: need ideas for a romantic time

Now I know this is pretty far in advance ,but my hubby's birthday is exactly a month away and I want to do something big for him this year (we are finally working through our very rough patch and he has been working so hard lately pulling 80+ hour weeks) So I want to treat him to something really special and the only thing I have so far is this amazing hotel room with a private hot tub on the balcony of our room in the big city. Any suggestions would be great!

    This is a start...since your room has a hot tub, fill it with bubble bath, and take  a long soak together. UMM...get some of the glow in the dark stars and if you can reach the ceiling, write a message with the stars so it will be seen when lights are out....

    Are you going to Portland? Can you take him to a game? Have you ever been to Wunderland, it's a nickel arcade in Portland. My H loves Wunderland. Not exactly romantic but really, he's a guy. Or Portland City Grill is awesome, but a little spendy.

    If you go to Wunderland (it's really affordable too!) go to the Avalon Theatre one. There are some great bars nearby too, you guys could get a drink afterward! Don't mind me, I'm just living vicariously through you, I miss home!

    Aww I will be sure to have some fun up there for you too then! I know what you mean we never get out of this small town ,but when we do make it up there I just miss it more.

    I know nothing about Portland, but my hub would love this. I think it's equivalent to him treating me to a spa day LOL.

    Video Games and naked hot tub would prob be the best birthday ever for my Hub.
