Hello ladies-I am so looking forward to this board! I am 5w post d&c, I was 12w1d when I m/c and I really hope AF will return this week, then we can start ttc again. I am kind of scared though, I've heard from other posters that the first AF can be pretty bad-was it like that for you?

Hi and welcome! Mine was very heavy and lots of clots, but it made me happy (as happy as one can be) to see that my body was cleaning itself out and getting back on track. I know that it does vary between women.
I hope AF shows up soon!!!
My Af's were regular but I had natural miscarriages...welcome! I am sorry for your loss but I think you will find great comfort here

Hello and welcome. Sorry to hear of your loss. I had natural m/c's so I'm not sure if my experiences will be the same as yours but I always had a very easy time getting back on track with AF after each one. I hope you have the same experience so that you can get back to TTC.
I wanted to say your dog is super cute! I love looking at other people's fur babies. They always make me smile!

I had a natural m/c and AF came 5 weeks afterwards and it was scary. I had been warned that it would be worse than usual, but still kinda freaked at one point because of the volume and clots and called the doctor. I agree with pp- I was so happy to get AF (even though the heavy bleeding was emotional for me because it reminded me of my m/c). Welcome and GL!

I had a natural m/c but my first af really wasn't that bad. I know it's different for everyone though.

My first AF wasn't that bad but my 2nd one was. I had cramps the whole week and it was very heavy the whole time.
