More oz per bottle=fewer feedings?

We're still giving DS six 6oz bottles (typically) per day. He also gets usually 2 feedings of solids per day.  He seems satisfied with 6oz in a bottle normally.  Just curious when your LO wanted 8oz.  TIA

Re: More oz per bottle=fewer feedings?

  • At 7 months I was giving bottles 4x a day - breakfast, lunch, dinner and before bed. The breakfast bottle and bedtime bottle were 8oz, the other 2 were 6oz. We're now down to all bottles at 6oz and more table food and snacks.

This is us, we started at 8 months with 7oz a bottle 4x/day and 3 meals a day.

  • My LO has started taking less bottles and will take 6-8 oz depending on the feeding.  He takes 3-4 6-8 oz bottles a day now plus three solid meals.
