You can be all for spanking, but using this type of language and attitude about it makes it sound very ugly.
My friend's status: "There's a national debate going on about corporal punishment in schools.... Congress may pass a law banning it."
Some douchebag's response: "Bull S**T!!! If my son does something that the school feels that he should be "Popped" for.... I say Pop his little a$$....then he"ll get his a$$ whooped when he gets home!!!"
And another response: "I feel thats what is wrong with kids these days...they dont get their a$$ whipped enough! lol"
Holy crap.
Re: Holy crap... FB status re: spanking
Poor kids
OMG is all I can say.
That's what I thought. I don't want anyone putting their hands on my child!
It varies from state to state.
In the state of IN, I reserve the right to ask a parent if it is okay to physically restrain their child.
I never would, but I know it is allowed. I don't think anyone has actually used that though.
My SIL teaches Kindergarten. 2yrs ago, she had a little boy with severe emotional issues. She had to ask the parents if it was okay to restrain him b/c he was a danger to himself. She had to hold his arms down from hurting himself. She told the principal she could not teach him. She was literally crying every day. She was frightened that she would actually hurt him.
I know its not banned in PA. However I don't think its praciticed anywhere and highly frowned upon.
