1st PP period ?

I just started my 1st PP period.  So far it seems to be much heavier than my pre pregnancy flow (TMI).    My pre pregnancy periods lasted for 3 days and were very light. I 'm wondering if it will continue to be heavier and last longer than before.  I know everyone is different...but what was/is your experience w/your PP period?

    I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'm interested to hear what everyone else has to say.  Sorry I couldn't be of any help. :)

    I had PP bleeding for 4 weeks and at 6 weeks started AF.  It was super heavy for 4 days (went through a pad every 1-2 hours) and lasted for 7 days.  It was a nightmare, much worse than my pre pregnancy periods.  Luckily I haven't had a 2nd one and it has been about 6 weeks since the first.  I am an EBF, so I really didn't expect for it to start so soon.

    started mine a week after my Mirena was put in. It was light but lasted a long time but that could also be due to the Mirena

    My midwife said it could be heavier and longer up to the 1st year.  I sure hope she's wrong.

    My PP only lasted for 5 weeks.  I just got my first pp aunt flow this tuesday.  It has been the same as it was pre-preg.  Just the first day was a little more heavy.  It's already starting to tapper off.
