Alright, so we have made it through rice cereal and oatmeal and are thinking it's time to start introducing some actual baby food. But, here is my question...and, I apologize in advance if it's a dumb one...but...will Katie still get her regular bottles and have food in addition to them? OR, are we supplementing food for milk? I assume it's in addition to...
Help! I feel really dumb right now for some reason.
Re: Solid food question
You should continue with breastmilk or formula as normal. That should be her main source of food. The solid food is just a supplement. I usually bf and then give the solid 1 hour later.

Ditto.
Our pedi said that until 1 yr., food is just for practice. They should still be getting as much formula/BM per the age guidelines. I don't remember what they were now, but I know the enfamil/similac websites had it on there. BF is a little different I'm sure. You just don't want to start cutting back from the "real" nutrition of formula/BM.
And, not dumb at all. I had to call my pedi twice during those months because I was getting confused.
