That's it! I couldn't remember the name of it. I think it is already out in English, but it hasn't been offered to the U.S. market yet. You can buy it in English in Europe... In fact, I saw it in a bookstore when I was overseas during the holidays. You MAY be able to buy it in Canada. Or at least my Canadian coworker (the border is 30 minutes from where I live) had it sent to him from a friend in Europe.

I'm thinking I need to check out this Sookie Stackhouse chick. Compared to twilight, better or worse? very similar? I'm guessing it is just as simple a read? I want to read something that I get hooked and just can't let it go. Is this a good choice?

I was hooked on both series. The recommend Sookie Stackhouse. I was hooked on it. I love True Blood! The next in the series is coming out in a month I think. I also like the Lily Bard series. I read the other series where the main charater is a librarian and liked it until the last 2 books.

I found them more entertaining than Twilight and definitely more adult. I was never a big fan of reading. Twilight got me hooked. Then I started the Sookie Stackhouse series and was just as hooked. I had withdrawals when I was finished with the series.

Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella has been on my "want to read" list since it came out! I have too many books on this list.
Right now I'm reading The Gatekeeper, by Madelaine Wickham (who is actually Sophie Kinsella).
Next on my list to read is Little Bee, by Chris Cleave as it's the next book for my monthly book club. Yes, I'm a book club geek. lol
Loved both of these books. I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out May 25th - The girl who kicks the hornets nest!
