Babies: 0 - 3 Months

BF babies night sleep schedule at 2.5months

Ella is down between 9 and 9:30. If I go to bed before midnight I don't dream feed cause she won't take it. If I go to bed at midnight or 1am I dream feed her.If I don't dream feed her she wakes up around 3 to nurse and then again around 6. If I do she wakes up around 5.

What is your bf babies sleep schedule and night time nursing schedule?

EDIT: She does go back to sleep after her last "night" feeding and we are usually up for the day between 8 and 9.

Everything is so exciting when you're one!
  • Down between 8:30 and 10:30 pm depending when her last feeding is. (Currently she is alternating between 5 or 6 feedings/day.) Then she sleeps until 6:00 or 7:00 am.

She has always been an amazing sleeper though. 5-6 hours straight at night during her first week of life! So thankful!

  • Logan is 2 months old today his schedule is...

sometime from 8:00pm to 9:00pm he's in bed asleep and he normally fed himself to sleep.

He will then wake up about 4 - 5hours later about 12 or 1am

He will then wake again at 3am for a feeding and hopefully go back to sleep (he kept mommy up starting at 3:30 yesterday and I had a job interview after work!)

He then will wake around 5 am for another feeding and normally be up for a while then since Mommy and daddy are both up and getting ready for work then.

Then I try to have him have at least a snack before I leave or else bring him to the babysitters around 6:15 or 6:30am.

  • Max is down between 9-11 and is up between 4-7. He's been pretty consistent since 3 weeks.
  • Eva's been pretty consistent for about a month now...  she's asleep around 9:30, sleeps until around 4:30, back up at 6:30, then down until 9:00.  However - that's when she's swaddled.  We're trying to quit swaddling her (IT'S NOT WORKING!).

  • LO falls asleep at around 9 and wakes up at around 1 or 2 for a feeding, then again at around 5, then again at around 6:30 or 7 and wake up at 8. I wake up at around 6:30 or 7 so I can have an hour without LO for coffee, e-mails and conversations with DH.
  • Jack is in bed by 8pm. Wakes around 2-3am to eat, then again around 6ish, usually goes back to bed, then up at 7:30 for the day. Has been on this schedule since 5 weeks!

  • Down between 8-10 p.m, can go for on a rare occasion up to 5 hours before first meal, usually more like 3 hours and than every 2-3 hours after that to feed.  Wakes up between 7-9:30

This.  Although we are trying to get on a more consistent "bed time routine."

  • My LO is 11 weeks today.  He typically goes down around 9pm and wakes anywhere between 1-3 am to feed.  After that, he wakes every 2 hours and is up around 8 for the day.

  • Olivia is 11 weeks today. Her bed time is 8:30-9:00pm. She will wake between 3:00-4:00am for a re-swaddle (if an arm is out) and a binky but doesn't eat. She wakes for the day between 7:00-7:30am. Olivia has been sleeping 7 to 8 straight hours since she was 6 weeks old. I cluster feed every hour in the evening which is why I think she is sleeping so well. Other than that she eats every 2 hours the rest of the day. We are blessed with a healthy, happy and beautiful baby!

Why? I swadded DD#1 until she was 6 months old, do whatever works and remember swaddling helps your baby to feel secure.

As for the original post- LO goes to bed around 9:30pm wakes at 5am then up for day at 7:30am. But on a few occasions she has slept for 9 straight hours,  I wish she'd do that more often!
