XP: Crafty Peeps Come in!

I am going to try converting my BG's 3.0 to snaps.

Any recommendations on a snap press or pliers?

I checked out Kamsnaps.com and found a great tutorial on YouTube on how to do it.

Just checking in with you ladies to see if you have any recs on the pliers or snaps, where to buy, etc! TIA.

    I have the snap press very similar to what kamsnaps offers.  I ordered mine though off ebay on an incredible deal.  In the future I'll order snaps from kamsnaps.  Right now I'm halfway through my current supply of the 1000 that came with my press.

    I have KAM snaps and pliers but I don't think they're good for replacing the aplix on diapers- I'm not sure that you can get enough of the diaper "into" the pliers to get the snap placed correctly.

    I could be wrong though- I haven't tried it, just heard/read that.

    I highly recommend the snap press that I purchased from thesnapstore.com.  I can't remember all of the details, but I do know that I got reimbursed shipping via a store credit.  We wanted a press anyway though for another project that DH is doing so it was worth the expense for us.  Loving our "new" snap BG's though!

    I had read about that problem too, but video tutorial on You Tube doesn't seem to have much of a problem with it, so I'm thinking I'll try it.

    I can't really justify spending a lot on a press b/c I can't see myself using it much.

    And Kamsnaps has snaps that match the BG's color perfectly!  Even with little cute monsters engraved on them. Totally not a necessity but really adorable!
