  • Ross or Marshalls or a discount place like that. Usually lots of brand name luggage to choose from really cheap!

  • I'm a big fan of hard-sided luggage. My MIL has a fantastic set she bought in Europe that we used on our honeymoon and it was AWESOME! I can't remember the brand name, but I'm sure I'll think of it and will pass it along when I do!
  • LL Bean has a lifetime warranty I think!

  • Kohls. We got a half-off deal they always do,  plus signed up for a credit card by them, got cash bucks to use next time.. etc. $200 of luggage for about $40 total. Not the greatest quality, but things get RIPPED up by the airlines, I wouldn't worry about nice, just quality handles, etc.

Online? I'd try overstock or amazon for free ship.

This.  I had a rolling suitcase from LLBean that was roughly handled and one of the wheels got totally bent.  I took it back and got a brand-spanking new one.

They make good-quality stuff that is worth the investment, especially for something like luggage that is likely to get thrown around every time you use it.

  • I'd try Ross or Marshall's too!  They have awesome deals.  There's a Mayo Clinic in the Phoenix area too!

  • Ditto Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Ross. Name brand stuff for much less $$. Check out the ones on clearance for an even better deal. I got the nicest piece of Samsonite luggage with 4 rolling wheels on clearance for $39! I've even seen the hard sided ones there. I highly recommend the ones with 4 wheels that swivel. The suitcases practically push themselves. Very convenient when travelling with a baby/toddler. Happy shopping!
