Does this sound like pink eye? (me, not dd)

This morning my eye was fine.  But as the day has gone on, my left eye has gotten red and uncomfortable.  When I got home, I couldn't wait to get my contacts out.  It wasn't painful, just super uncomfortable.  Now that my contacts are out, my eye is still pretty red but feels fine.  No itching, no discomfort.  It's not watering.  Does this sound like pink eye?  I've never had it before so I don't know!

    I would see if you wake up tomorrow morning with any crusty-ness (sounds awesome, right!?) That's how I knew that I had pinkeye when I was working in a daycare center.

    The redness especially with the contacts might just be some sort of irritation or allergies. 

    I would say if it continues throughout tomorrow to go to the Dr.

    pink eye makes your eye feel fuzzy like there's something in it and it's gooey and gross.  And it's super contagious.

    Hope that's not it!

    Lovely, lol.  I have a teeny tiny bit of gooey stuff in the inside corner of my eye, but not much at all.  Hopefully it's just allergies or something.

    Ditto this...I got it from DD, and I woke up with crusties all around my eye...yuck!

    Yep.  That's how I knew if my kindergartners had it.

    I wear my contacts every single day. I, also, do this about twice a year. I just take my contacts out and chalk it up to allergies.
