Arm's Reach Co-sleeper question

Do you need some type of waterproof mattress pad/protector or is just a sheet sufficient?  Do you use any other bedding?  (If it makes any difference, we're going with the original because it's twins...)  Thanks!

Re: Arm's Reach Co-sleeper question

  • We just opened ours the other day, and the mattress has a vinyl cover on it, so we're just going to use a sheet.  Plus the mattress is not all that firm, so I don't want to add an extra layer of padding.  As for other bedding, we plan to just swaddle the baby.

  • you shouldn't use any blankets- just the one you swaddle with.

I was VERY happy with the bedside cosleeper with DS - he started to STTN the week we got ours (around 8w... we sold our Eddie bauer bassinet- i hated it!).
