Any one have a great OBGYN?!

Because mine is not so great. I would like to find one associated with Methodist, as the new women's hospital is supposed to be great, and is also the closest to my house. Would love to find someone who understands charting, and even would recommend it. The lady I am seeing now basically told me it was a waste of my time,and to be more patient but.. now that I am a year off of BCP, it's time for someone to get serious about figuring out why I am not ovulating.

    This is my first post ever! :)

     I go to Dr. Nancy Matthews at the Indian Hills Women's Center off of 89th and Dodge area. I LOVE her!!!! She has delivered my 2 other children and was with my for the loss of our first pregnancy.

     In June though, they are all moving out to the new Methodist Women's Center on I think it is 192nd and Dodge.

     Phone number for Indian Hills is 354-1700.

    Give her a call! Like I said, I LOVE her. She actually listens to you and will do all she can do exactly what you want done! :)

    I LOVE my OB, Dr. Ann Sjulin at MidCity on 72nd and Center. She delivered my son at Methodist but since the new Women's Hospital is going up there are a lot of issues (and safety ones in terms of mom's needing something like emergency surgery, etc after a delivery, etc) so the clinic is choosing not to deliver there. I used to work at Methodist so of course I am partial but when it comes to the safety of me or my baby I care more about that than how awesome the rooms are, etc. So we are delivering at Bergan. At first I was totally bummed but after talking to my OB about all of the reasons why they are not going to the new hospital and also knowing that Bergan has a great NICU and totally remodeled (a plus), I am comfortable with the choice.

    I used to see Dr. Paige Berryman, also at the Methodist Women's Center office on 90th & Dodge. She is PHENOMENAL. Dr. Linda Collins (offices at Lakeside & Clarkson) delivered my daughter last fall, & I loved her as well. She delivers all over the city. GL!

    I went to Mark Carlson 16120 W. Dodge Road (MHS Clinic) for the first time in January and I liked the staff, the office, and the doctor. There are several physicians in that practice and they should all be delivering at the new hospital.

    This is my first post ever too and I am also going to recommend Dr Matthews!  I would NOT go to Dr. Linda Collins.  She delivered my first child and although she is very nice she was not present at my delivery bc she was out of town.  I saw her on Wednesday, she stripped my membranes and said "Maybe we can get this baby to come this weekend".  On Friday my water broke and I called the office and they told me she was on vacation!!!  She never even mentioned it!  I actually have a friend who had the EXACT SAME THING happen to her the year before me!  I have 3 close friends who see Dr. Matthews and I saw her at the very beginning of my second pregnancy because she works with the midwives at Methodist.  I really liked her but really wanted midwife care for my second baby.  She is a great doctor and is not c-section happy.  The midwives there are also amazing!!  I would definitely recommend them highly!  Good luck!

    I would say that Dr. Collins IS on vacation ALOT. That is my one complaint with her....however, she is great during labor management & delivery.

    I see Dr Lonny Legino over at MidCity and I wanted to deliever at Methodist as well. He told me pretty much the same thing. I went for a tour at Bergan and was satisfied by it. If you havent gone on one I highly recommend it because they show you everything that they have done there. I felt much better because it was much more updated than when my friend delivered there two years ago.
