Needle disposal tip...

My IVF coordinator told me to put the cap back on the needle after your shot and twist it off the syringe. Then you are only putting the needles in the sharps container and you have lots more room!

    This is how we have been doing it.  I am still using my first sharps container and I am on week 3 of PIO shots twice a day.

    My container is huge.  I don't ever plan to fill it! ;-)

     

    I've not asked my docs but does anybody's RE let them bring their container in to the office to empty?

    I dropped on off at my dr's office but they didn't empty it for me, they just took it. I guess I should have asked.

    My REs office does take my entire sharps container.

    Wow so smart but this college grad never even thought of it!!  Stick out tongue Thanks for the info I'm on my second container and it's filling up fast gonna start doing this with tonight's shot.  Thanks for sharing!

    I put all my syringes in with the caps on then so I broke into mine with a butter knife and twisted off all the syringes! I have plenty of room now!
