I've been looking at jogging strollers recently and can't decide on a fixed or swivel wheel. What is your experience? I'll mainly be jogging around the neighborhood. I heard the swivel will sometimes cause for a jerky ride, even if it's set to not swivel. Also, if you really like yours, please recommend it!

We have the BOB Ironman with a fixed front wheel and love it. I use it mostly for running, but we also use it a good deal for walking. For walking it would be easier to have a wheel that swivels and locks, but in my opinion it isn't necessary. We've used it for almost 3.5 years with really no complaints.
I rented a Jeep stroller for two separate weeks while visiting my grandmother. It was great for walking, but I HATED it for running. The front wheel shimmied and it was just really clunky and cumbersome.
Personally I wouldn't run with a swivel front wheel. I'd either get a fixed or one that can swivel or be fixed. I've seen a stroller flip from someone running without locking the front wheel.
so when you run are you suppose to lock the swivel wheel and only use the swivel for walking?
Yep. Even in the BOB Revolution manual it says to never run with the stroller in swivel mode.
One more reason I like a fixed front wheel is it is the front wheel is 16". The strollers that have a fixed/swivel front wheel have a 12" front wheel max. The larger wheel makes it easier to run with.
Ditto this. Love our Ironman, although I just got it so I haven't tested it out too long. The few runs I've taken it on have been great.

This exactly. I have the option of removing the jogging wheel and putting on strolling wheels, so a no-swivel wheel wasn't a big deal for me. I have a Chariot Cougar.
