I Feel Sorry for the Baby at DS's Day Care

First of all, I hope this doesn't offend any of you with big babies. Honestly DS is big too, but this baby was HUGE!!

Dropped DS off at day care for the first time today (went well and saw him over lunch and all was still well) and when I went dropped him off there was this baby lying perfectly still on the floor, no wiggling arms or legs and he was just huge! Then when I went back over lunch he had his pants off and I could see how enormous his legs were and again, just lying there, barely even looking around and it just looked like he was just so big that he couldn't even move! I just felt so sorry for him! The day care girl said he's 6 mo and is "demand" fed. He's literally bigger than my 1yr old nephew. I know babys can definitely lose all of that weight (I had a very big nephew who's a super skinny 2yr old now), but I just hope he's able to have fun and the reason why he was lying so limp was because he was tired or something and not because he was too chubby to move!!!

I just couldn't help but feel sorry for him!

    You cant judge...you dont know his background story!!  A mom could be coming in and saying that your baby is too skinny or anything else for that matter!

    Poor baby :(  All my boy cousins were stinkin huge when they were babies.  They got scholarships to college to play football though so maybe this chunky guy is looking at a free ride in 18 years lol.

    Who cares that they child is demand fed? My child is demand fed and her weight is small for her height and age. A baby won't overeat.

    My son is 6 months old but is in 12 month clothes.  Yes he's a big baby, but I don't "feel sorry for him."  He's a very happy and very healthy baby!!
