The age post made me curious bc some people mentioned how long they've been married. I had DS when I was 29 but we had been married for 8 years!! We took the change of becoming parents a bit hard because we were so used to just having each other!!

My husband and I dated for 2 years then married this past August. Found out we were pregnant with Marlee a few weeks after the honeymoon. We'd made a bet for me to be pregnant by February. We are excited about her arrival in June. We cannot imagine how our lives are going to change, so we'll just hold on for the ride of our lives.

When we got pregnant, we had been married for 2.5 years. We lived together for three years before getting married, though, so we feel like we've had quite a bit of "us" time before starting a family.

I was 30 and DH was almost 32 when DS was born. We were just a couple months shy of our 4 year anniversary, together for just over 6 years total when DS was born. This fell right in our timeline. We wanted to get PG around our 3 year anniversary and sure enough got PG a month after it!

we were together 9 years and married 2 when DD came along. It took some major adjusting and the first 6 months were kind of tough on our marriage. I think sometimes when it's just the two of your for so long it it hard to add another perosn to the mix.

This is our first child. I am 20 (turned 20 a month after getting pg) and my husband just turned 31.

DH and I got engaged in Sept. 08, started trying for a baby (since I was told I would have a hard time conceiving), got married in Dec. 08, and then got pregnant in Aug. 09! So, we were "together" for 11 months before we got pregnant.
