Anyone's LO see an allergist?

Jackson is under 6 months but the pedi wants him to go see an allergist.  We are going later today.

He had eczema all over his body after apples.  We stopped those, then a few weeks later tried bananas and he turned red all over his face where the bananas touched.

I have gone to allergists for my own seasonal allergies.  I really don't want them to stick him all over to determine what he is allergic to... he is too little :-(

    I took Lauryn to the allergist right before she turned 9mths.  We were going for animal allergies and food allergies.  They did the prick test on her back - 3 different spots and she did not cry at all.  It was harder to hold her still after the test because they did not want her on her back.  Turns out she is allergic to dogs and cats but no food.  Definitely worth checking out.

    I got nervous because they told me to dress him in short sleeves... I just remember getting pricked all up and down my arms :-(

    I was nervous too which is why DH came with me.  Good thing because we took turns holding her.  And we got the results right away which I liked.  And then they put hydracortisone lotion on the spots and the bumps and redness went right away.
