On Friday night, Jackson started army crawling (he doesn't get very far, but he's definitely moving) and getting up on his hands and knees.
If your LO is crawling, how long after they started doing these things did the real crawling begin? We have not baby proofed yet, even though DH and I have been saying for the last 3 months that we need to get it done. Crap!
Re: Talk to me about crawling.....
DD has been army crawling/getting up on her hands/knees for weeks. She actually crawls on the floor, but with her belly (uses both arms and legs) on the floor. She only really crawls every once in awhile, and it's only a few short "steps" and then she's back on the ground.
Still, she gets where she wants to go, and quickly, so I'd baby proof quickly.
DS never army crawled. After getting up on his hands and knees it was about 4-6 weeks. So for you I bet it will be any day.
He went backwards a few steps one day and the next he slowly crawled a few feet. Within a few days he was all over the room and now he crawls super fast and is into EVERYTHING! lol
Awwww....B-day buddies.
