Have been lurking on the 2U2 board...

I told DH that I would be open to discussing #2 after DS turned one...which is rapidly approaching, but that I'm still not sure I'd be ready. He is more then ready, but then again after 2 weeks off, he goes back to work and it's me at home with a toddler and newborn and most likely recovering from another c-section.

I'm not sure if lurking on the 2U2 board is helping me...or scaring me!!!!

I'm still in that position, and I'm rapidly approaching 2U1!

Really, you'll never think you're ready for #2, but if you're wanting another, and wanting them to be close in age, I'd just dive in. But that's me.

I can't bring myself to even take a glance over there. The thought of that is literally petrifying to me.

I don't know if I want them close in age, but I'm in my 30's and DH is in his 40's so time really isn't on our side.

I don't think I'll ever be ready for the newborn stage again or c/s recovery...I think just diving in is going to have to be how it's done around here!

I agree. I go back and forth all the time about when I want to start TTC #2, and as scary as it sounds and is (let's face it, having 2 kids will be no walk in the park), I'd really like to have at least 3 kids and would like them to be close in age. As with the first LO, there's no really good time to have kids, so what makes it any different with #2? Good luck

I lurk over there waaay too much and every night when DH gets home I whine about TTC. He actually wants to as well. I agree that there's no perfect time, but we're waiting right now to hear back about a job he's up for.
