DS is slowly taking formula. He finally ate 3 oz just a moment ago...which isn't enough I'm sure but a big step towards eating formula for him! How many oz of formula/milk does your LO take each time?
Until recently DD would never eat more than 4 oz at a time. Now she'll sometimes do 5oz but she's not a big eater- more of a snacker. I doubt she'll ever be at the place where some babies drink like 8oz at a time. I can't even drink 8oz in a sitting like some of those babies do!
6 ounces four times a day and all but the bedtime one is through a sippy cup. It is so much easier to get her to eat now that she can take drinks while playing instead of sitting still with a bottle.
We have just started supplementing with formula and at first I started with
2oz in addition to his regular nursing. Now in the evenings I give him a 4 oz bottle 2 hrs after nursing and 2 hrs before nursing before bed. Today I did that and he still seemed upset so we gave him 2 more oz so 6 total and he seemed happy then.

Re: How many oz does your LO take in a feeding?
We just switched to formula about a month or so ago and it was rough. At first he wanted nothing to do with it.
Now he takes anywhere from 1-7 oz. Seriously, it's such a crap shoot. Sucks. We waste a lot of formula.
He's been getting better, I'd say generally he's around 5 or 6 oz. now.

both my babies take a 10oz bottle before bed (even my little 15 pound DD!)
