this schedule seems funky to me:
7am wake-up 7:30 bottle (7oz) 8:30 one veg, cereal/fruit 9:30 nap 12:30 lunch - one veg, then bottle (5-6oz) 1:30 nap 4:30 dinner - two veg, then bottle (4-6oz) 7:30 bedtime bottle (8-9oz) they are having meltdowns (i think from hunger) at bedtime. seems like there should be snacks in there... we haven't started finger food...probably should. ped didn't say a thing about it at 9mos visit, but just wanted them to start stage 2 and start "lunch". also, does anyone put morning bottle & solids together? seems it would create alot of free time in the morning. but can they eat that much at once? would you mind sharing your schedule??? the search functions on the bump do not work for me.
Re: please help with improving our schedule! 10mos
Our schedule is pretty similar. In the morning, DD nurses and eats her solids pretty close together. She seems pretty hungry. We also found that we needed to get snacks in. I nurse or DH gives her some food before her afternoon nap, and she often nurses when I get home from work and gets a snack while we eat our dinner.
So, I guess our schedule looks sort of like this:
7:30 wake, potty, change, nurse
8:00 breakfast
9:30 nap
11:00-ish (upon waking) lunch
12:00 nurse and/or 2:00 snack
2:30 nap
4:30 dinner or snack
5:00 nurse
5:30 to 6:30 dinner or snack
7:45 nurse
7am 6oz bottle
8:30am breakfast (yogurt or cheerios & banana)
10:30am 6oz bottle
12:30pm lunch (finger foods)
2:30pm 6oz bottle
4:30pm snack (fruit)
6:30pm dinner (whatever we're eating)
8:30pm 6oz bottle
Good luck!
