Poll: What LO will sleep in?

I was planning on LO sleeping in PNP bassinet, but I've noticed a couple of friends that have recently had newborns kept the PNP in the family room (I'm guessing for quick diaper changes and laying LO down) on the first level of the house AND a separate bassinet upstairs in their bedrooms. Now I'm thinking I like that idea, especially since I've been told climbing the stairs during that first week or two is uncomfortable.

If you are doing a bassinet, what kind did you get? Thanks!

We are using a snuggle nest and if that doesn't work out the way we want we will move the pack and play from the living room to the bedroom. We were going to go with the arm's reach co-sleeper but I couldn't justify spending the money on that and a pack and play.

Baby will co-sleep/sleep in the bassinet. We have 2 levels in our house, so the pack n play will be downstairs for diaper changes and rest during the day and possibly protection from her 3 1/2 year sister

LO will actually sleep in the bassinet I slept in. My mom kept it all these years and just got a new mattress. That will stay in our room. I don't know if I will set up the pack-n-play in the livingroom or not. We have a one story and the bassinet is on wheels so I might just wheel it into the livingroom if necessary.

None of the above.

LO will sleep in his crib, but we are on the same floor (3rd) of the house. We actually set up the PNP today on the 2nd floor living area for during the day.

I will keep LO in the bassinet at night for feedings and then nap time during the day he will go in the PNP set up in my sons room once he is sleeping through the night he will stay in the PNP for a while, my son is still in the crib. We will transition him in to a 'big boy bed' when we need to move LO to the crib, till then the PNP is getting some use:)

LO will sleep in her crib-her bedroom is right next door to ours. Independence from the get go is our best option because I don't want her to become so accustomed to sleeping with mom and dad she never sleeps in her own room. We are going to use our PNP exclusively for visits to others houses when she may need to go down for a nap and traveling.

He will have the option of cradle in our room or his crib in the 2nd bedroom (we have another double bed in the 2nd bedroom if one of us needs to sleep there).
