Do you get random FB friend requests?

I do. All.the.time. I have no idea who these people are. I usually message them to ask how we know each other and I never get a response. Who the hell are these people??

    I have a couple times. It is so weird! I feel like it is people who are just trying to get a billion friends!

    I get requests from people whom I share mutual friends with because that's the only way I can be found. I just hit "Ignore" and move it along if I don't know who they are. I don't get why you would friend someone you don't know.

    That's the only way I can be found too. It's getting a little ridiculous. I think people like to stack friends on FB. My BIL has over 1,000 friends. Really? You know that many people? I don't think so.

    On occasion.   The last time it happened, it was after I responded to a thread on my college alumni website. I guess my two sentence reply about my college dorm was so beguiling that the guy just couldn't resist!  

    I just ignored the request.

    I do all the time! I think they are just losers who have no friends IRL so they feel the need to have as many FB friends as possible. The best one I got was a girl who was online friends with an ex of mine. She had sent him naked pictures while he and I were dating. Lets just say the message she got was not a nice one.

    This is what i assume it is. If we have no mutual friends I figure it's some weirdo stacking friends for no good reason.  Not something I want to be a part of! Who knows what they'd do with my personal info after that.

    Mine random requests are always a mutual friend of someone else. Why would you want to be friends with someone you don't know other than to get your count up. I do get some Bumpie requests but they always put their screenname in the request and then I realize who they are.
