Noce's Pizza?

Anyone had it yet? They claim to be "NY style," the owners are all from NY, and the pictures online look promising. We're going to try it for dinner tonight.

I'll be waiting in high anticipation for your review! If they are good DH and I may have to stop there on our date night tomorrow. My cousin is coming in from the east coast next weekend. We have a system down pat for transporting cannoli and pasticiotto. Want me to save you one?? :-)

My sister will be here next month with a delivery for me

How funny that we both rely on pizza/pastry transportation across state lines. I thought we were the only crazy ones. We also transport whole pizza pies. The little place we've always gone to will put them together and bake them partway before they start their journey.

Did you grow up out there?

We;ve had the one in cheviot. I like it...now granted I've never had for real NY pizza. Slightly greasy but definitely foldable. let me know how it compared.

My mom grew up in Waterbury, CT. It seems like there's a crazy huge Italian population there. They have amazing pastry shops and pizza joints. Both her parents were immigrants as kids, my Nana from Sicily and my Pop-Pop from Italy.

My maternal grandparents both came from Italy. I was super spoiled growing up in North Jersey because we got to visit my great-grandparents in NYC all the time and eat awesome food at the little shops in Brooklyn. I still love when my gramma cooks for me. Mmmmm, red sauce....

Been there twice. Both times we got the exact same order (pizza by the slice) and the first time it was really good and the second time it was horrible! I don't know what the deal was during the second trip. But the first time it was fresh tasting and the second time it was like reheated pizza.
