Gymboree for 6 month old?

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone done Gymboree for a 6 month old?  If so, did you do level 1 or level 2?  My son is close to sitting up on his own (can do it for very short periods now).  I called and they said they like for babies to sit on their own for level 2, but unfortunately they don't offer level 1 on the weekends at the location closest to me (and I work during the week).  We are going to give it a try at level 2 anyway this weekend and see how it goes.

Also, any general thoughts on Gymboree are welcome too!

    My 21 month old went to a party there about three weeks ago and had the time of her life.  She played HARD the entire time.  I hope we can go back for classes sometime.

    We just went to Level 1 this past weekend (DD is almost 4 months).  It was so much fun - she had a blast.

    We started Gymboree when my older son was 6 weeks old :)  I think they like the babies to be sitting up pretty well for Level 2, but you may as well try it.  The teacher should let you know if you need to move back down to Lvl 1.
