Trouble TTC

Isabella Oliver review

Hello ladies

Just wanted to share -

I got the IO hipster A line skirt and it's fabulous - very flattering and will work great once the warmer weather hits.

I also got the hipster "trousers" and was totally disappointed.  They are going back.  My Lululemon workout pants are more flattering, seriously.  These "trousers" are basically flowy rayon / polyester stretchy pants.  Blech.  All for the bargain price of $88 plus shipping!  Not cool.

If anyone finds a legitimate pair of ACTUAL PANTS that aren't for lounging, but for work, please let me know!

Re: Isabella Oliver review

  • I got some good pants at A Pea in the Pod that are actual work pants (and not lounge pants).  The Pea has good stuff.

  • Thank you for the review!  I was looking at the IO website yesterday and I think you're talking about the same pants I was looking at for work.
  • I just got some GREAT work pants and capris of the exact same style on sale.  Unfortunately, I can't remember if it was JC Penney or Bergner's right now.  The whole shopping trip was a blur.  Anyway, they fit me perfect at almost 15 weeks and will continue to fit as the baby grows.  I thought they looked very sophisticated and got the pants in chocolate brown and the capris (Clearance!) in black.  I'll have to double check the brand and fabric and get back with you.  I can't wait to wear them!

  • I got a great pair of cuorduroys from HotMama.com, they are Olian.  The cuoruroy is really tiny and they look very nice.  I love them, they are the most comfortable pair of pants I own.  They have the over/under belly, so you can fold it down or pull it up over your belly.
  • I have my new dress pants on and am loving them so far. :-)    It's made by Duo Maternity and has the all-around panel.  they are 95% polyester and 5% spandex.  Very cute and stylish.  We'll see how they fit as this baby grows, but it says it's good for 3-9 months.  I'll be the judge of that.  ;-)

  • I'm surprised the hear about the hipster trousers.  I bought their Tailored Trousers and absolutely adore them.  I would buy them again in non-maternity for after baby if I could.  They hang very nicely and wash up like a dream.  I don't even have to iron them and the front crease somehow magically stays in.
