How do you clean the nose sucker-outer??

You know...that thing that sucks the boogies out of your baby's nose? Once all the snot gets inside, how do you clean it? Or do you? When do you throw it away?

 

Ick. So gross. Lol

    I waterlog it with hot soapy water, let it soak for a few minutes then rinse it out.

    This. If it doesn't come apart you're supposed to get a new one every 2 months or so.

    Ours is the Hydrasense Nasal Aspirator Plus.  Its with the saline sprays in the drugstore/pharmacy section of Wal-Mart etc.  Its a lil expensive, but seems to work well.  Only gross part is you get to suck the boogers out lol.  LO hates it but what can you do.

    mine that comes apart does NOT work as good.. it actually comes apart when I simply press down on it.. I hate it!!! =)

    i boil mine and then just suck up some of the boiling water to wash out the inside (that's how the hospital told us to clean them)
