Who has been? Is it worth an overnight trip from Atlanta? I LOVE their stuff and could care less if I am buying the previous season if I can get it at a good price.:)
I just went. It's only 1 mile from my brothers house so I try to go at least once a season. I don't know if I'd plan a trip to St. Simons just for that one store but there is plenty of other stuff in SSI to make an over night trip worth it.
They def. have a huge selection in the outlet room. It's kind of like a warehouse with hanging racks three levels high of previous season outfits. You would def. be able to find plenty of options in whatever size you're looking for. I could have easily bought Tess 10 outfits the other day. Emma's harder to shop for but that's just the age. Most of what I got was between $20-$35. Like the ruffle butt bubbles I think are $21 and the 2 piece smocked top w/ bloomers I think was $32. Not sure how much jon-jon's were. I think girls bathing suits were around $20.
I always go every June when we go to St Simons for vacation and I stock up for the year. I always shop from the back warehouse as well (you go into the main store and then walk thru to get to the back). From what I remember jon jon's are $18-$21 and two piece sets for boys (shorts with a matching aplique shirt) are $18-$25. I also try and get the boys a swimsuit from there and they are typically $8-$12.
Thanks for the info! Those are good price points. I think I will start looking into a weekend getaway....with a stop at the outlet. Do you know if they will do phone orders and ship?
I don't know if they do phone orders but I plan to spend a lot of time in SSI tthis summer since my brother/sil/niece are living there full time now. If you can't make it down to shop % will be happy to virtual shop w/ you

I called...they only take phone orders for current seasonal items.
I might take you up on that offer.....:)
