My latest was a very fast med free birth.

Honestly I don't know which I prefer. Yeah, the second birth was only 2 hours and 23 minutes from water breaking until birth, but my body went into shock after delivery and that was really scary.

Guess I can say I've done it both ways.

2 hrs and 23 mintues...wow, wow, wow! That is fast - it was 25 hours from my water breaking to my birth. I really hope my second is that fast.

As pps asked, what made shock occur?

I'm with you! My first was with an epi, but I didn't make it to the hospital in time for my 2nd (9 days ago). The pain was intense, but it was so much easier to push.
