Hi & Charlotte OB's? :)

Hi ladies!

I'm Lindsay, new to this board, but long time knottie & now nestie... venturing in to the idea adding "bumpie" to the list. 

DH and I just moved to Charlotte last summer. We're still renting a condo right in the city while we research neighborhoods and decide where exactly we want to buy or build (we want to be in a house by November). Originally, we had planned to wait until the end of the year to start TTC, but we've both been overwhelmed with baby fever for the past several months, so we're considering moving our timeline up a bit. 

I've just been going to my family physician for typical female stuff, but now that we're talking about TTC I'd like to get in with an OB and wanted to see if any of you had recommendations?

Like I said, we've been here just shy of a year, so I'm not even really sure what the "good" hospitals are or anything like that, so any advice you have I'd really appreciate :)

Might start lurking and ease in to posting here if you'll have me!

    I go to Providence OBGYN and see Dr Arronte but like all the others docs as well. Its a small practice which I like and they are Presby affiliated but will deliver at CMC Main as well.

    I go to Carmel OBGYN and they are in South Charlotte (Blakeney).  I see Dr. Meek and he's the best doctor I've ever had.  Most of my friends go to Carmel too.  3 of us see Dr. Meek - and the girls that see other doctors are really pleased with them too.  They deliver at CMC only.

    no kids yet, but i also go to Carmel OBGYN and see Dr. Solomon.

    If you're closer to north charlotte, I go to Huntersville ob/gyn, attached to Presbyterian Hospital. Exit 23 off 77.

    I recommend Charlotte OBGYN down by CMC. They are really awesome. Great OB's on staff plus they have 4 nurse-mid-wives if you'd liek to see about that route!

    CMC is a great hospital it has a level 4 nicu (hope to never have to use it but glad its there!)

    Presbyterain hospital would be my 2nd go-to hospital

    NEVER go to Gaston Memorial though!!! (If you ever have an accident or have to go there for an emergency, as soon as you can, get transfered out!)

    I go to Eastover OBGYN...Dr. Taylor. They are connected with CMC and they are awesome!!
