Where would you put the bassinet?

DH and I live with his parents right now - and we currently have 1 room (we've taken over a second room as storage, unofficially). I'm on a cleaning/organizing spree - or nesting, if that's what this is, and I'm trying to figure out where to put LO's bassinet. 

We know it will be on my side of the bed, but do I need to keep it away from the window/floor heating vents?

    I wouldn't put it right on top of a vent, but I think a window is ok, if it's closed...

    Ours will be right beside the side of the bed where I sleep. There's a window there but no vent. We're in a seperate-entrance condo and are on the second floor so I don't think a window will be problem.

    We will be putting ours beside the bed, it will be next to a heating vent, but it has been warm enough that we have not had to turn the heat on in over a week now and I doubt it will be going back on when LO arrives.
