37+ weekers still working?

Give me some inspirations here! 37 weeks today and sitting at my desk at work. I'd thought I'd go stir crazy being at home but I stayed home on Monday and oh how awesome it was.

I have strong false labor and if I sit too long I cant stand up straight. Worst off the large stall in the bathroom has been out of order for 2 weeks and fitting into the small stall takes minor yoga moves.

Still working. I have 8 days left. I'm due right at the beginning of Spring Break, otherwise I'd work until the end. I'm still pretty comfortable most days, though.

i had dd on a mon and worked until that friday...i do have a desk job. i'd rather spend more time home after the baby comes...hang in there!

Still going! Today I actually feel really good. I keep reminding myself the faster I can get to work, the faster I can pee (long commute) and the faster I get to login to bump! lol

Still working. I almost didn't come in today because I was having somewhat regular contractions last night but they went away after I got up and moved around this morning. Darn.

I'm still working too unfortunately. The 23rd is my last day but I still have 3 holidays to use up so I am thinking about taking the 21, 22 and 23 off!! Can't wait!!

I'm still working as well. I only have so much paid time off with baby so I'm trying to save it all. The 60 mile round trip commute to work is really starting to suck though.

A local news anchor is a few days past her due date and she's still doing the nightly news!

I'm 38 weeks today and still working. I have a desk job and a pretty easy commute, so it's not bad, I'm trying to save most of my time for after the baby. I keep telling myself I should have this baby in my arms by the end of the month - hopefully time will go pretty fast these last few weeks.

Haha - I hear ya with the false labor...I am still working too. Plan to right up until. I hope LO comes this weekend so I don't have to go back to work!

I really don't get to stop working before LO is born, I am a SAHM of a very active 4 y/o that wants to be outside all day long.....thank goodness for the rainy day we had yesterday, ahh movies, popcorn and some good snuggle time! I get 2 hours of down time on M,W and F when he is at school,except for this last week as it was spring break. Other then that it is from sun up to sun down.

If you call coming to work, doing a couple of things and then having time to check out the bump. Then, yes, I am still working. Not very hard obviously, but I get paid nonetheless. A true blessing.

I am still working through next Friday (due on Thurs). I am pretty distracted but still feeling good. I am in he same boat as everyone else - I want to spend all my time off with LO even though it is crazy tempting to get out of here before next Friday. Hopefully I don't go until my induction date (4/26), that will be 5 unnecessary business days off!

Ha, ha, me too. I finished up all my work and my clients are all directed to my coworker so I don't have much to do. I am thinking of going out for a long lunch.

Still working here! I work in a lab doing cancer research, so I am on my feet/moving around, but my work load is very light right now so I sit at my desk and read papers (or, The Bump boards) for a few hrs every day. It's not bad at all! I feel great, and I enjoy my job and co-workers a lot and like coming in to talk to them. I do have to commute 1 hr each way, but it's a straight shot up the highway so it's really no big deal. Plus, I would be absolutely bored out of my wits if I were staying home now. I'd have nothing to do, no one to talk to as DH is at work/DD at school all day. Our house is completely ready for baby. If I went out now, I can see myself either just sitting around eating all day, or going out shopping and spending $$.

I had DD 2 days past my due date and worked a full day that day. I will work as late as possible again, unless there is a medical reason not to.
