Last summer I had lots of the rompers (one piece shorts outfits with the snaps) for Owen. He was so cute in them and they were comfy and coolish. I just can't decide if he is too old for them now. Are rompers more of a baby thing?
I loved the rompers and bought a bunch last summer in which C was around 12months to 16 months during the summer time. As much as I loved them my siblings would make comments like I'm tired of seeing him in them and he is a little boy and needs to dress like one. Additionally, he would unsnap the bottom to get to his you know what. This summer I bought him shorts and shirts becasue he is potty training and he needs to get used to pulling his pants up and down and the romper will not help with that process. As much as I loved the romper C is a toddler so we have given up the rompers.
Our boys haven't worn them after 12-14 months. I loved them when they were babies...but my dh would kill me if I tried to put his "boys" in them any older than that.

My son has a couple that we bought for the beach and a couple of 'dressier' ones, one for Easter and another one. I love them but wouldn't put him in them too often now. I do, however, have an unnatural love for overalls.

I say up until potty training. I'm bummed that Gavin can't wear them this year b/c he is working on PT and the snaps take too long to undo. He's so cute in them though!
Re: At what age can a boy still wear a romper?
Jackson wore them last summer when he was like 18 months. They were cool and comfy and I thought super cute still!
I'm still trying to decide about this summer...I'm pretty sure I'll put him in one if I run across one cute enough!
