i've heard on here that it works better for pain if you alternate tylenol with motrin for teething (DD has 3 almost cutting today, and she's miserable...poor lil bug).
i put a call into the pedi, but usually don't hear back from them for at least a few hours if it's not urgent. how often can i give each if i'm alternating?
Re: What's the tylenol/motrin rule?
Our pedi and our friends' pedis say to start with one and give the other 2 hours later.
We try not to do that unless he has a fever, though, because we like to stay as un-medicated as possible. We've done it 3-4 times and it works well.
Wait, I'mconfused. Motrin can't be given less then 6 hours apart. How can you alternate such a short time frame?
Just curious, both boys cut 2 teeth this weekend and are MISERABLE. I'd just about do anything to help hem feel better!
